Experience the magic and the
beauty of profound well-being in an eternal paradise located
in a breathtaking corner of the Yucatan jungle. Echoes of
the ancients, coral reefs fringed with sugary veils of white
sand, a lapis blue sea marking the rhythm of days and
nights. The natural harmony, the spiritual relationship
between land and sea. Here every delight has its secret
language, a name and a sound breathed ritually from the
heart.
"Handmade Hospitality" describes the total ambiance of
Maroma and the philosophy of taking care of the guests on a
very individual, tailored-to-fit basis. Nearly every request
can be accommodated - arrangements for a celebration,
information about a special interest, special dietary needs,
etc. At the hotel they would be delighted to help you.

TEMAZCAL:
A unique source of spiritual and physical healing.
Herb-infused water is poured over heated volcanic rocks to
extract toxins from the body and enhance energy flow from
within. The Maya Temazcal is similar to a North American
Indian sweat lodge where heated volcanic rocks are doused
with herb infused water to create aromatic and healing
steam. Offered at dusk, this ritualistic treatment weaves
together ancient traditions, chants and meditation. The body
is nourished during the treatment, using fruit and enriched
mineral mud. After the sun sets, guests are taken to the sea
for a cool cleansing plunge. This experience leaves an
overall feeling of cleanliness, calm and inner peace.
KINAN SPA:
Kinan is the Mayan word for the healing energy of the sun.
Similar to the Asian concept of Chi, Kinan is also used to
refer to an individual’s energy. The mission is to help you
transform and unlock your inner energy and spirit. Kinan Spa
is a healing sanctuary that offers a full range of services
in unique environments ranging from ultimate luxury couple
suites to open-air massage palapas. Do yoga on the roof top
palapa and experience the 360 degree view of Maroma’s dual
ecosystems.
Handcrafted by the same family of Mayan stonemasons that
have been lovingly creating Maroma for over three decades,
the 7000 square foot Kinan Spa was designed based on Maya
sacred geometry. These principles of astrological alignment,
ratios and energy channels give Kinan Spa its spiritual
essence.
Each building, treatment room and waterfall has been aligned
to the stars to ensure positive energy flow so the body,
mind and spirit are in harmony. The treatment rooms point
directly east to west representing the balance of the day
and night. The massage beds are placed so guests’ heads are
at the west looking towards the east - representing new
beginnings; and the relaxation room is pointing north -
representing earth and grounding.
Many of the treatments offered at Kinan are based on ancient
Mayan healing. Some of the services will not be found any
where else in this world.

your special day. All of the rooms, the private oceanfront
villa, the beach, the jungle, the sun, moon and stars are at

the executives will be assigned to your event in order to

LOCATION:
Maroma is
located in the state of Quintana Roo, on the Mexican
Caribbean, at the Riviera Maya. It sits on a jungle preserve
measuring roughly 25 acres. The area benefits from an
excellent weather and temperature, which fluctuates between
25 to 35 degrees Celsius, 77 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
The hotel is within 20 miles south of Cancun's international
airport, 25 minutes north of Playa del Carmen and 45 minutes
