Adjoining each bedroom is its own large living area containing color TV, CD/DVD player and a minibar. The suite also has its own kitchen and a dining room with seating ability for 10 people. Restaurant La Canoa: The elegant restaurant La Canoa features French chef Fabrice Guissets "La Cuisine de los Soles" - a dramatic fusion of styles based upon the spices and chilies used in the cuisine of warm weather countries. Restaurant Kaax (Mayan word meaning "Jungle"): As you enter Kaax, the first thing you notice are the hand painted murals depicting the flora and fauna of the region that surrounds you. However, it is the wonderful Mexican menu that adds the true authenticity and sets this restaurant apart from the other Yucatan dining experiences. The chef has drawn on the traditions of the region by staying true to the original recipes but has added his own modern touches and presentations. Waiters are at hand to explain each dish to you as you discover a whole new gourmet experience.

Restaurant El Chiringuito (Mayan word meaning "Pelican"): This casual open air Oceanside grill offers a variety of fresh seafood, chicken and meats grilled to perfection on a wood fire using the native hardwood, "Zapote". Guests may also enjoy "Chilpachole" - a traditional light Mexican seafood stew served in a clay pot - or one of the fresh pizzas baked in the outdoor wood fired oven. Situated on the beach with a cool ocean breeze blowing through, this is the perfect setting for a relaxed outdoor meal.

Hippos Bar: Covered by a large Mayan "Palapa" which provides a cool shelter from the sun and overlooking the pool and the ocean is Hippos Bar - the heart of Paraíso de la Bonita during the day. THALASSO CENTER AND SPA – Healing through water:
The ocean is the source of all life with seawater containing all the elements that are fundamental for every life form. Thalassotherapy is the therapeutic use of seawater, marine algae and marine mud in various treatments for the body.

Thalassotherapy incorporates the use of comfortably warm seawater with its living organisms to reload the body with minerals and trace elements which are absorbed through the skin by a process of osmosis.

The 22,000 square foot Thalasso Center is the first European Thalasso Spa in North America and is a temple of healing and rejuvenation for the body, mind and soul. Applying the ancient regimen of the curative benefits of the sea, the center offers an extensive menu of treatments featuring seawater, marine algae and mineral rich mud. Fresh seawater that has been heated to body temperature is used in a variety of therapies. Modern Thalasso applications now enhance stress reduction, weight loss, anti-cellulite, muscle and joint healing amongst other therapeutic uses. The Center uses only Thalgo products from Europe and all the therapists are trained and certified specialists in Thalassotherapy.

The Center also offers a beachside exercise center, fitness classes, yoga and a large saltwater hydrotherapy pool which is used for treatments as well as for just lounging around and enjoying the surrounding scenery. Temazcal - Ancient Aztec Náhuatl word, meaning “House of Steam”:
Experience an authentic and indigenous pre-Hispanic aromatic Temazcal which perfectly harmonizes and balances your mind, body and soul. The native songs, the smell of “copal” and aromatic herbs infused with the steam, combine to create a magical ambiance, inviting you to enjoy a deeply relaxing and therapeutic journey under the expert guide of our Xaman. Two “doors” (sessions) are held which include an introduction as well as the ritual of preparation, guided by the Xaman. After the ceremony, fresh water is provided for refreshment.

The ceremony is offered to couples or groups of 3 to 8 people. Participants should shower 30 minutes before the ceremony and we also recommend that you do not eat for 2 hours beforehand. The most comfortable attire that we recommend is a bathing suit and we suggest that you do not wear any metal or jewelry in the Temazcal as it can get quite hot.

MEETINGS & EVENTS:
Meeting facilities: Apart from the luxury of relaxing, Paraíso de la Bonita is also able to offer you the best facilities for group incentives or congresses. There is a large 1, 400 square foot meeting room which can be customized for special events. We are able to cater for cocktails of up to 70 people within the room and special audio visual equipment and wireless technology is also available.
