A Boutique
Hotel that mixes the simple elegance with an exquisite taste
in its eight rooms, located in Puebla, Puebla.
The Hotel Mesón de Capuchinas has a privileged
location in Puebla’s Historic Center. History whispers from
the walls of this 17th-century building. The transformation
of what was the former residence of an aristocratic family
into today’s eight rooms’ hotel was extraordinary. The worn
edges of times past lend character to a contemporary palette
of white, aquamarine and citrine walls, against which the
display of antiques and artwork is dramatic. As the owners
have been antique dealers for four generations, its
transformation is unexpectedly avant-garde without
neglecting the historic roots of this magical place.
The Mesón de Capuchinas is a new concept in the
hotel business, since history and charm blend in the same
place. This beautiful hotel is member of the Mexico Boutique
Hotels chain.
All suites are spacious and unique in layout and size and
are beautifully decorated with both antique and contemporary
furnishings. The ensemble is unexpectedly avant-garde while
respecting the historic roots of the building.
At the Mesón de Capuchinas intimate restaurant the
food parallels the design — a contemporary interpretation of
international classics — and is delivered in a serene room
with a sleek, modern finish.
The Mesón de Capuchinas is a fine sanctuary from
where you can explore what the city and the State of Puebla
have to offer. The hotel also caters to the needs of
business travelers.
The Mesón de Capuchinas is a place of tranquility
where service is delivered by friendly and genuine hosts.
During your stay you will especially love the plate of
cookies and dulces (sweets) waiting on the table by your
door every day.
The Mesón de Capuchinas is a member of the World
Heritage Alliance and it is engaged in promoting and
maintaining the culture and historical wealth of the region.
