In this unique place, the traditional Talavera pottery of the area with exquisite gold-leaf detailing is used to frame around the door and to decorate the beautiful spaces of this ancient house.

Each room at the Mesón Sacristía de la Compañía is uniquely decorated with antiques. If you like what you see, you can buy the whole ensemble and take it home! This is possible as for generations the Espinosa family (owners of the place) has sold antiques in the Los Sapos area of downtown Puebla.

Brick-lined arches, lacquered brick floors and colorful walls are adorned with antiques from the Espinosa's collection: Religious sculptures, portraits of nobles and colonial artifacts will take you back in time. The Mesón Sacristía de la Compañía is not only a hotel; in fact, the building houses the family's antique gallery. The gallery sells anything from furniture and tapestry to figurines and religious art. The building becomes a living gallery where you can breathe the flavors of a Colonial Mexico lost in the memories.

The Mesón Sacristía de la Compañía has eight luxury rooms, where comfort and wealthy times are blended. Each room is totally different from the other, and features different holy relics spread among the whole building.

Junior Suites:
These six comfortable deluxe rooms are part of the inventory of this hotel. Soothing beds with 19th century brass headboards, 18th century wrought iron chairs and original heavy wooden furniture are features in some of the beautiful rooms. The Mesón Sacristía de la Compañía offers a cooking workshop, “Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz,” with a specialization in the traditional recipes from the Puebla’s cuisine and the gastronomic richness of México. Participants will be able to learn by the hand of the hotel’s Chef to prepare the most traditional recipes of the Poblano dishes.

LOCATION:
The Mesón Sacristía de la Compañía is located in the Historic Center of the city of Puebla, in the " Callejón de los Sapos" (the toads’ neighborhood,) one of the most touristic places in the zone.
