ACCOMMODATIONS:
The hotel has 37 deluxe rooms and suites, distributed among four mansions and the exclusive Casa del Parque, located a few minutes walk away.

White stucco walls, vaulted ceilings and dark wood tones evoke the rich architectonic history of San Miguel de Allende. The bathrooms with talavera tiles, polished bronze sinks and stone fire places create an atmosphere of warm welcoming. The original paintings of local artists accentuate the walls and throws and woven carpets made by hand offer color and texture. The design of the rooms follows the original architecture and so no two rooms are identical. Each of the rooms and suites has its own individual décor, each celebrating the spirit of San Miguel de Allende.

Deluxe Rooms: The Deluxe Rooms are located throughout the Casa de Sierra Nevada complex. Each room is individually decorated in the local style, which is a mix of Spanish Colonial and Mexican style. Most rooms have quarry-stone fireplaces; and all have exquisite furnishings and talavera-tiled bathrooms. The rooms have a king size bed.

Executive Rooms: Each Executive Room is individually decorated by local craftsman in a mix of the Spanish colonial and Mexican style. Each room has a beautiful king size bed and talavera tiled bathroom. Most rooms have quarry-stone fireplaces, and all have exquisite furnishings and an area for relaxing after a day's exploring the cultural capital of San Miguel de Allende.

Junior Suites: The Junior Suites are each individually decorated and in different areas of the complex. Most of the suites feature a working fireplace and all have a comfortable living room for relaxing after your day's sightseeing. The rooms are spacious and have king size beds. The decor is a colonial-indigenous hybrid, peppered with contemporary touches and sumptuous fabrics. Comfort and luxury are keywords throughout the complex. Beds are generous with fine linens and soft pillows while richly colored tiles in the bathroom lend an air of rustic charm.

One Bedroom Suite: Each of the One Bedroom Suites are spacious with two double beds or one king size bed. Each of the suites has a beautiful working fireplace and a large comfortable living room perfect for resting after a long day spent in the cultural hotspot of San Miguel de Allende. The decor is a colonial-indigenous hybrid, peppered with contemporary touches and sumptuous fabrics. Comfort and luxury are keywords throughout the complex. Beds are generous with fine linens and soft pillows while richly colored tiles in the bathroom lend an air of rustic charm.

Colonial Junior Suite: Some of the newer and larger rooms located in The Casa Palma and Casa Limon, an 18th century style mansions with cloistered outdoor courtyards with fountains, small gardens and al fresco corridors. The room decor is a colonial-indigenous hybrid, peppered with contemporary touches evoking the rich architectural history of San Miguel de Allende while original paintings by local artists accent the walls, and hand woven textile throws and rugs provide warmth and texture. Each room has air conditioning, a small sitting area, its own working gas fireplace with and a private terrace or patio. King size beds are generous with fine linens and soft pillows while richly colored talavera tiles in the bathroom, polished copper sinks and claw-foot copper tubs lend an air of rustic charm. All rooms have heated bathroom floors, two sinks, Nespresso coffee makers, Bose iPod speakers, wireless internet access and data ports; to make your stay as comfortable and luxurious as possible. Twice-daily maid service, valet service, concierge and room service are available to ensure every need is met.

RESTAURANTS:
The two restaurants of Casa de Sierra Nevada are at the top of hotel dining establishments in San Miguel de Allende, and the culinary choices on offer are as exceptional as the hotel itself. Both restaurants are at the top of hotel dining establishments in México.

Restaurant Andanza: The Andanza restaurant, located in the main house “Casa Principal,” provides a relaxed elegance where guests can enjoy continental cuisine with regional influences as well as entertainment by a live pianist or trio. Guests will enjoy a memorable dining experience in this stunning restaurant. The restaurant is the winner of Mexico's prestigious Distinctive H, as well as the coveted AAA Four Diamond and the Dirona awards, the only restaurant in San Miguel de Allende to receive these honors. Most recently, Restaurant Andanza won the prestigious AAHS International Five Star Diamond Award. The food is sublime, fine china and beautiful table linens adorn the tables; and the service is exemplary. Andanza serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cuisine celebrates Mexican tradition with a modern flair and always features seasonal local produce. Choose from six different dining areas: the Courtyard, the Wine room and cava, the Art room, the Private dining room, the Game room or the Blue bar. The private dining room for eight is perfect for a family celebration or other special occasion.

Restaurant Casa del Parque: Nestled beneath the colonnades of the mansion, the menu features tasty Mexican specialties with exotic names and flavors, like sopa azteca, tacos a la milpa, trozo torero, mole de Marilú, and leche quemada a la naranja. Casa del Parque is a more relaxed restaurant, and it is known for its regional Mexican cuisine and evenings filled with the boleros of a local trio. The adjacent Parque Benito Juárez is ideal for a shady stroll after lunch or to work up an appetite before dinner. A relaxed, informal atmosphere, the Casa del Parque is particularly good for lunch or for a low-key dinner after a day of sightseeing. The space is divided into four sections: The bar, the main dining room, the patio overlooking the garden of the house and the private Salon Don Ignacio.

LOUNGES/BARS:
The Casa del Parque offers a bar where the boleros of a local trio provide the perfect backdrop to indulge in a refreshing cocktail or aperitif before dinner. The Blue Bar extends onto the patio where you can sip your drink of choice while soaking up the atmosphere of the town bustling along in front of you.

Cooking School The Sazón: A Mexican cooking school and boutique housed in a magnificent 18th century casa in the heart of San Miguel de Allende, a charming colonial town in the highlands of Central Mexico. At Sazón they run a number of acclaimed cookery courses, covering the different forms of Mexican cuisine, including traditional regional specialties and some of the more modern Mexican favorites. Each of the classes are taken by the in-house chefs, who between them have years of creating delicate dishes with the robust flavors that the Mexican cuisine is known for.

Boutique: The Boutique at Sazón features the best of what the Mexican crafts has to offer, honoring the Mexican culture and the art of the table with useful and decorative pieces. At the Boutique Sazón, they have an eye for finding Mexican artisans who are creating tomorrow's heirlooms. Handcrafted pottery, glassware, linens and paintings are just few of the types of items they can share with you. Have a look inside to meet some of these talented craftsmen and their wares.

Laja Spa: Paying tribute to the magnificent Laja River that flows through the mountains in the north and fills the San Miguel de Allende Lake, the Laja Spa is a haven of purification and rejuvenation. They offer their treatments in three beautiful air conditioned colonial style treatment rooms. The Spa offers a range of treatments from traditional healing therapies based on the natural hydration of the Laja River, to some thoroughly modern Spa treatments - facials, body experiences and touch therapies. Event Venues:
Casa Sierra Nevada’s event spaces are covered in beautiful architectural features and artisan details that are so typical of this cultural city. They offer a range of rooms from the intimate Sazón, to the larger courtyards of the Casa Parque.

Casa del Parque: Located just two and a half blocks from the main house, between El Chorro (the springs) and Juárez Park, the Casa del Parque is decorated in a typical Mexican-style, featuring lovely patios. The Casa del Parque offers some of the most interesting events spaces in San Miguel de Allende:

  • The Jardín del Parque: This garden offers an event space in the beautiful surroundings of one of gardens of the Casa del Parque, enclosed by trees and colorful flowers; this is the ideal space for a large event or an intimate ceremony. The garden has a capacity up to 400 persons.
  • Salon Interior del Parque: Located in Casa del Parque, this is a very comfortable and beautiful room with delightful views over the gardens. Perfect in winter, the ornate fireplace offers a warm atmosphere and cozy ambience. This room can accommodate from 20 to 60 persons.
  • Salon del Obispo: Located inside Casa del Parque, this elegant dining area is perfect for a family reunion. From the windows you can enjoy lovely views of San Miguel de Allende historic sites. The salon can accommodate up to ten persons.
  • Area of the Cactus: A lovely open area located inside Casa del Parque; with the best views of the fountain that decorates this historic hacienda. This area has a capacity from 25 to 60 persons.


Casa Limon: Casa Limon is one of the newest houses of the complex, named Limon due to the beautiful lemon tree planted in the entrance of the building. Housed in a historic 17th century building, the event spaces are located next to the pool area. Period murals can still be seen on the walls and, in traditional Mexican colonial style, the doors and windows are framed in quarry stone. Casa Limon has two event spaces: La Galeria and the Jardín Principal.

  • The Galeria: The Salon La Galería is a perfect spot for a small gathering or event and can accommodate up to 50 persons.
  • The Jardín Principal: The meeting area of the main garden has the colonial architecture of Casa Limón serving as a stunning backdrop for the extraordinary lush, well-kept garden that surrounds the swimming pool. Ideal for both formal and informal receptions, the garden comfortably accommodates 300 guests for a banquet.


Sazón: The Sazón cooking school is located in the heart of the cultural city of San Miguel de Allende. Known for its culinary delights the school is also the perfect venue for a special occasion. The Sazón is housed in a typical eighteenth century mansion with all of the artisan details and architecture of this most artistic of cities. The Sazón offers a real taste of the old mixed with the new and as you would except some of the best catering in San Miguel de Allende. Sazón has a capacity from 30 to 60 persons.

LOCATION:
San Miguel de Allende sits at an altitude of 6,435 feet above sea level and it is located in Central Mexico. It is easily reached from Mexico City which is 177 miles away (three hours drive) and the nearby Guanajuato-León Airport is one hour and 30 minutes away from the hotel or to the Queretaro Airport is just one hour.
